Electric Operators
Motorized shades offer the most amount of flexibility, especially for shades which are located higher than manual telescopic operating poles can reach. With the use of multiple unit remote controls and switches, a number of shades can be opened or closed at the same time. In addition, the programmable timer gives more flexibility and control options than ever offered before.
- Battery Operated with 8 AA Lithium Batteries and Remote Control or RF Switch
- Hard Wired with 120 Volt AD/DC Power Center and Remote Control or RF Switch
The control options offer much flexibility. Note that all remote controls and switches are operated by radio frequency and cannont be hard wired. They operate up to 150' from the shades and through cement walls, although not through metal walls or in metal control boxes.
The single unit controls can operate up to 5 shades of any size, all at the same time. The five unit control can operate up to 5 separate groups of up to 5 shades of any size, all in the same group at the same time.
The Single Channel Programmable Timer will automatically open and close skylite shades based on the pre-set time of day. It can be programmed to operate at the same time each day or different times every day. It has a security function that will open or close the shades randomly to give the impression of an occupied home. Commands are transmitted via radio, so external wiring is not necessary.
Ultima Day/Night Shades can not be motorized.
